Oh no! Emblem3 is no longer comprised of three! Drew Chadwick quit the band in pursuit of a solo career. Be still our fangirl hearts!
Looks like Emblem3 is now down to Emblem2. Drew Chadwick has decided to leave the group to focus on his solo career, leaving Wesley and Keaton Stromberg behind. The group, who shot to fame on The X Factor, will now be a family affair.
Emblem3 Break Up: Drew Chadwick Quits For Solo Career
So long, Emblem3. We hardly knew you. On June 20, Emblem3 announced on their website that Drew was leaving the group. They wrote a heartfelt letter to their fans about the decision:
“We have an important announcement to make. While we regret sharing this news, we as a group need to share that Drew has decided to move forward in pursuit of his solo career and will no longer be with Emblem3 or joining us on The Fireside Story Sessions. We’re sad to see Drew go but he will always be our brother, and we couldn’t be happier for him as he starts his new journey as a solo artist.”
So heartbreaking. It was so nice of them to write such a nice message to their fans. Emblem3 gained notoriety after their stinton The X Factor. They finished fourth in the competition, but have made a lasting impact with their fans.
With Drew gone from the group, does that mean the end of Emblem3 completely?
Emblem3: Will They Still Make Music?
Since Drew left the group, that leaves just Wesley and Keaton to keep Emblem3 alive. Have no fear, Emblem3 lovers, Wesley and Keaton are still making music!
In the band’s statement, Emblem3 discussed the continuing on and said it was just the “beginning!”
“We know many of you may be concerned about what this means for Emblem3, but I can assure you this is just the beginning! Me and Keaton started this band when we were 9 and 11 years old and we will continue making music for our fans. We love you with all our heart…”
Their Fireside Story Sessions tour will continue on and Wesley and Keaton said they will have music from their new record coming soon!
Whew! Even with just two members, Emblem3 will always be able to make us swoon! We wish Drew all the best in his solo career.
