But those aren't the only house of mouse classics getting a reboot.
The re-telling of Cinderella has released its first teaser video. The film, which is due March 2015, stars Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham-Carter and Lily James. Emma Watson was reportedly offered the role of Cinderella but had to drop out due to a Beauty and The Beast adaption also coming soon.
From land to the sea, The Little Mermaid is also being made into a live action flick. Deadline reports the Sofia Coppola is in talks to direct the film.
