They’re baaaack. The two most lovable idiots in comedy history have returned after 20 years for more lunacy, and you can get your first sneak peek right here!

A sequel to the classic Dumb & Dumber was always a longshot, but like Jim Carrey‘s Lloyd — “So you’re saying there’s a chance!” — we never gave up hope. Fast-forward twenty years to June 2014, and we finally have our first trailer for Dumb and Dumber To – and boy, is it jam-packed with jokes.

We first see Harry (Jeff Daniels) reunite with a grizzly-bearded Lloyd in a mental institution — apparently Lloyd is still mourning the loss of Mary (“Mary Samsonite,” as Harry hilariously calls her) from the first movie. But we soon find out that Lloyd’s incapacitation was just a 20-year-long gag, which Harry obviously appreciates

From there, more inanity. Harry and Lloyd — in the same clothes they wore in the original — return to their shanty apartment where Harry finds out he has a full-grown, very attractive daughter. So they set off to find her!

Along the way, the two idiots hit on joke after joke and take their lunacy to all new levels. Let’s just say Lloyd and Harry did NOT get smarter with the coming of the digital age.

The trailer also promises the return of many fan-favorite gags from the original Dumb & Dumber – Lloyd still can’t figure out how to use breath spray, he still has elaborate sexual fantasies, the guys still have a proclivity for hot peppers, and of course Harry’s dog mobile is still in operation.

For anyone who loved the first movie, Dumb and Dumber To will either be the best or worst thing they’ve ever seen. Watch the trailer above and tell us what YOU think!
