Taylor Swift ‘Begging’ Friends To Visit NYC: Is Selena Gomez Ignoring Her?

It’s hard out there for a popstar living in the Big Apple! A new report claims that T-Swift is totally regretting moving to New York City in early 2014, and that she can’t get any of her friends to visit her. Not even Selena?

Taylor Swift got a change of scenery in March 2014 when she locked down a $20 million apartment in New York City, but she might already wish she had never signed the lease. A new report claims the singer is extremely lonely in the big city — especially because she apparently can’t get any of her best friends to visit her.

“Taylor feels isolated in New York,” a source tells Star magazine. “She’s having a hard time making friends and begging people to visit, even offering to fly them out!”
Taylor has seemed to have a rotating cast of besties since migrating to NYC — in a few short months she’s been spotted spending time with Karlie Kloss, Sarah Hyland, Lena Dunham, and Lorde. But most of Taylor’s friends aren’t Big Apple residents, and are usually just passing through. So Taylor is already planning her escape from New York.
“Taylor cannot wait to split her time between Rhode Island and LA,” the source continues. “She doesn’t want any part of living in New York full-time. She really regrets moving there.”

Selena Gomez: Will She Save Taylor Swift In NYC?

One thing’s for sure — with Taylor allegedly struggling in NYC, it has not been a BFF-to-the-rescue situation for Selena Gomez. Since Taylor moved to New York, Selena has only been spotted with her there once, and in that case Selena was in the city for the Met Gala, which Taylor just happened to also be at. And though the two spent the whole night arm-in-arm, it seems evident that the once BFFs aren’t as close as they used to be.
“Both of us have kind of stuck it out and hung in there through all the different changes we’ve gone through,” Taylor told E! News about her friendship with Selena, but they really seem to be going through a tough time as bicoastal besties. And though Selena’s done a lot of traveling recently — the Dominican Republic, Nepal, London — NYC hasn’t been on her itinerary.
