Here are the two massively important games on deck on June 28:
12:00 p.m. ET — Brazil Vs. Chile
I knew Brazil would be here, but I can’t be the only one who’s surprised to see Chile escape a group that seemed destined to be dominated by Spain and the Netherlands. But Chile shocked the defending champions, and now they’re looking to shock the top-ranked favorites from Brazil. I can’t see Neymar and the rest of the Canarinhos letting this one get away from them, but if the 2014 World Cup has taught me anything, it’s that nothing is a sure thing.

4:00 p.m. ET — Colombia Vs. Uruguay
Let’s get this out of the way — Luis Suarez, perhaps still picking Giorgio Chiellini‘s shoulder out of his teeth, will not be playing for Uruguay in this game thanks to the four-month suspension that FIFA hit him with on June 26. That’s going to be a huge factor in this game — with two goals in the tournament, he’s Uruguay’s gamebreaker. They could certainly use him in this game against Colombia, who looked downright unstoppable in the group stage, and now they’ll have to find some scoring elsewhere on their roster — god knows they need it.
